CUTEK® QuickClean is an effective cleaner designed to regularly maintain exterior wood and prepare surfaces for maintenance coats of CUTEK® Extreme Wood Oil.

It easily removes dirt, grease, grime, and environmental buildup from outdoor wood surfaces while helping to even out areas where CUTEK® Colourtone tints may have worn unevenly over time.

Proper cleaning ensures that maintenance coats of Cutek oil penetrate properly into the wood grain and provide long-lasting protection.

Use Cutek Wood Reviver when:

Use Cutek Wood Stripper when:

• Removing paint
• Removing old wood coatings

Dilution and Coverage

CUTEK® QuickClean is a concentrated cleaner and must be diluted with water before use.

Typical Dilution

• 1 part CUTEK® QuickClean
• 8 parts water

Coverage

Approximately 850 sq ft per 4.5 gallons of diluted solution

Dilution and coverage may vary depending on the level of dirt, grease, and surface contamination.

Always perform a test patch before cleaning large areas.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Prepare

Always test CUTEK® QuickClean on a small area before applying to the entire surface. Wood species, contamination levels, and environmental conditions can affect dilution ratios and cleaning effectiveness.

Ensure surrounding surfaces and vegetation are protected before application.

Step 2 – Apply Cleaner

1. Wet the wood surface with water.
2. Dilute CUTEK® QuickClean according to recommended ratios.
3. Apply the diluted solution using:

• Brush
• Roller
• Broom
• Low-pressure garden sprayer

Allow the cleaner to sit for 5–15 minutes depending on the severity of dirt or staining.

Stubborn stains may require moderate scrubbing with a stiff fiber brush.

Step 3 – Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse the surface completely with water.

For best results, use a pressure washer set to approximately 50 bar (750 psi) with a fan jet pattern.

Avoid excessive pressure which may damage wood fibers.

Do NOT use turbojet nozzles on wood.

Rinse from the highest point downward using long, even strokes in the direction of the wood grain.

If pressure washing is not practical, rinse thoroughly with a hose and light scrubbing.

Clean-Up

All equipment can be cleaned using water.

Dispose of wash water in accordance with local environmental regulations.
