Installation Recommendations

The Starborn DECKFAST Fascia System is specifically designed to accommodate the expansion and contraction of composite and PVC fascia boards.

The DECKFAST Fascia Tool creates an oversized, countersunk hole that allows the fascia board to expand and contract without placing excessive pressure on the screw.

The screw’s wide head helps secure the fascia while allowing movement, and its 1-7/8” length helps prevent the tip from protruding through the back of the rim joist in typical installations.

For best results, follow the fascia manufacturer’s installation instructions, including recommended screw spacing.
